Hi! This is a picture of me in Switzerland taken in the summer of 2002.

 

Here I am with some students and friends from Kosovo. I taught their English class through Refugee and Immigration Services in the summer of 1999. This picture was taken in the winter of 2000. Click here to read a testimonial from one of these students.

 

 

I spent over 100 hours in the Fall of 2002 working with a Honduran woman named Marleni through a course on Service-Learning. I helped her through a high-risk pregnancy, taught her English, and translated bills and other documents. This picture is of me translating for Marleni at the baby, Jennifer's, first pediatric appointment.
