2000-2001	New Mexico Tech	Resident hall Advisor "RA" for 30+ students: responsibilities included enforcement of rules, dorm damages / repairs, keeping students out of trouble, keeping students in school, settling dorm disputes, etc.
2001	New Mexico Tech	Teaching assistant for a 1 week geologic field methods class in the Death Valley region of California
2002-2004	Montana Tech of the University of Montana	Taught 3 introductory geology labs dealing with geologic concepts, mineral identification, and field methods.
2003-2004	Montana Tech of the University of Montana	Taught 4 upper level mineralogy and petrology labs which emphasized advanced rock and mineral identification and properties.
2003-2004	Montana Tech of the University of Montana	Proctored numerous mineralogy and petrology classes giving lectures on metamorphic rocks, metamorphic enviornments, igneous melts, plate tectonics, and igneous phase diagrams.
2004	Virginia Tech	Taught 3 introductory geology labs which covered many of the basic concepts of geology / earth sciences and also the different ways that geology shapes the world around us and influences our everyday lives.
?2006?	Virginia Tech	Taught a class in field methods which included exercises in field mapping, orienteering, structural geology, sedimentology, geomorphology, volcanology, geological engineering, and mining methods.
