Home About Us Our Team Our Sleds Our Journeys Links Contact Us	Minnesota Trip 2005-2006 I packed up the team and headed to the great white state of Minnesota for some New Years Eve fun in the snow. The wonderfully long drive proved taxing with eleven dogs but was well worth it. Someone special awaited us at the other end! Dog sled rides were given and our great leader Onyx proved exceptional, making turns on snowmobile trails in an open field. Off to Ely, one of my favorite places in MN. The pictures below are from the Four Mile Portage, located in the Boundry Waters Canoe Winderness Area. We ran a 14 mile run out across the lake, through the portage and out onto another lake. Definately should have brought the camping grear! We managed another run in the BWCA that was more difficult. Tought sled handing, lots of hills and tight turns. We also ran in the Superior National Forest. We had a great run, but didn't manage to take any pictures. This run was about 25 miles and you'll have to ask us about it. We lived up to the kennel name. Next time we'll have a map and new batteries for the GPS!
