Birds of the World

I dare not call myself a birder. I can’t say that I have ever traveled hundreds of miles to catch a quick glimpse of a rare visitor. I do however love watching the exciting lives of birds.

Birds are often time the most troublesome animals to take photographs of. Their quick movements, small nature, and inapproachability leaves the photographer often time to far away for a close up or with blurry images. A large aperture telephoto lens is really the only consistent way to take pictures of birds. My lacking of proper equipment leaves me taking few avian pictures. Of course when I get any opportunity, I take it.
