Extra Credit Assignment

You may gain up to 5 extra credit points (that's the equivalent of five reading responses) by attending one of the Choices and Challenges Forum on Prozac sessions (click here for program schedule link) and writing up a response to it. The response must 1) describe the session and 2) discuss it's pertinence to issues of cultural studies discusses in class (especially with regard to the theories of ideology we have been learning, but not limited to this). 3-4 pages. Due with paper #2 on November 16.

The Choices and Challenges program will be held in the Graduate Life Center at Donaldson Brown on Thursday, November 10, throughout the day (pick the session that fits with your schedule). You can also attend Dr. Metzl's lecture on Wednesday, November 9, 4:30pm, in 331 Randolph, to fulfill this extra credit assignment.
