It is important for teachers to understand that learning can be fun.  Here I used Jeopardy to review for an upcoming test.

• Philosophy: It is important for teachers to have a teaching philosophy that is both useable and changeable.  Teachers should reevaluate their philosophy's every year.

My name is Brian Miller and I am 22 years old.  I am finishing up my Masters' degree in Social Studies Education.  I grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia, and hope to return there to start my teaching career.  I have wanted to be a teacher ever since middle school and now my goal is about to be accomplished.

On June 30, 2001, I will be getting married to my long-time girlfriend, Tiffany.  She graduated in May 2000 and is currently a 1st grade teacher in Loudoun County.  We are planning to live in Lovettsville until our house is built.

In the future, I would like to slowly start working on my Masters' degree in history and eventually work towards a Ph.D in history.  I like learning new things, so in my spare time I try to read.

My hobbies include fishing, weight lifting, camping, scuba diving, and working outside.  I feel that hobbies are a good way to relieve stress.  If teachers do not have ways to relieve stress, they run the chance of burning out.
