Propaganda Posters

Here a two examples of students work that was turned in for their homework assignment that goes along with the Home front lesson.  During my student teaching experience, I have tried to incorporate activities that the students might enjoy completing.  It is my belief that learning can be fun.  The students really seemed to enjoy this homework assignment.

I try to make all homework assignments fun and interesting for the students.  Here is an example of a poster drawn by a German exchange student.  I thought it was very interesting because she drew a propaganda poster from a German perspective.  I always like to see the students points of view.  These posters were graded on neatness and how well they represented propaganda posters.
This is an example of a student looking at a World War II propaganda poster and changing it around a little bit.  This student decided to create this poster because they liked the "watch your tongue" posters.  These posters were graded on neatness and how well they represented propaganda posters.
