This site is devoted to metal music in or around Blacksburg, Va. This is a quick reference for all the metal happenings in (or near)Blacksburg.
I want to bring metal music to Blacksburg; it's severely lacking (in my opinion). By showing that there is a need for metal in Blacksburg, maybe bands will start touring through here.
This site exists to allow fans of metal music to find who's playing where in or around Blacksburg, Va. I will have a section for shows, a section for bands (with links to websites of course), a section for a personal blog about metal that I will update when I feel necessary, and, of course, an "About Me" section.
This will be a community of metal bands and fans.
Take 1: So, I've had a ridiculously stressful past few days. Hence, why I haven't updated. I also have finals, so I probably won't be updating until at least the end of the week.
Take 2: Because this website (at this time) is for a grade, I won't be able to update for a minimal of 2 days for grading. Sorry.
Take 3: Once I'm done, I will add a show I've found, review a few albums, post some blogs about the metal news (Sebastian Bach and Hatebreed's singer working together—I know you can't wait for that.

Take 2: So while surfing for some news and info, MetalSucks linked a linked a preview for Opeth's new song and Kataklysm's new song. I must say they are freaking sweet!
Take 3: Yesterday was Earth Day and whether you agree with Global Warming and other environment or not, Testament is doing something pretty cool. Follow the jump to my Blog to find out why.
Man, it's been a while. It's been a few stressful days, followed by a few great ones (took a trip to The Ohio State). But yeah, new blog about Bigfoot being seen in Florida. I wish I could make this up. Follow the jump for Bigfoot.

Take 2: I really wish I didn't read MetalSucks sometimes. I'm trying to find VA bands, not find out about NJ bands. Oh well, good bands are good bands right? Well, after reading a post by MetalSucks talking about NJ's own The Binary Code, I opted to investigate. HOLY PROGRESSIVE GOODNESS BATMAN! Theses guys are pretty sweet. I've also posted the link in the Bands section.

Now I know this is a site dedicated to metal in Blacksburg, but I'm going to post a link to a New Jersey band that's pretty raw—Delian League— in the Bands section.
So I created a few other pages (so it's not just a homepage anymore). Also was surfing around for something cool to link to and came across this "interesting" definition regarding metal. I'll probably end up writing about it sometime soon in my blog.
Also, if you're into metal (which I'm assuming you are since you're here), check out the Metal Militia Music Club at Virginia Tech. NOTE: YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF FACEBOOK TO VIEW THAT CLUB! It's pretty straight though.
