Idaho Part Two June 09, 2006 ![]() Chris Boofing Riley Falls Here is a list of river we paddled since the last update Marble Creek Slate Creek Pack River Rapid Lightning The Idaho tour has come full circle. We have traveled from Boise to McCall to Bonners Ferry and paddled everything in between. The first half of the trip consisted of big continuous whitewater. The second half consisted of the ABP team getting frustrated at the lack of verticality of the rivers we had been paddling. So we decided to actively search for waterfalls, which brought us to Slate creek in the St. Joe Drainage, Rapid Lightning Creek near Sandpoint and Riley creek. Each of these rivers are unique in their own way. Slate Creek Slate creek was the prettiest river yet with the crystal clear blue water and quality drops. ![]() Slate Creek stacks up real nice ![]() Jason Boofing on Slate creek ![]() ![]() The views in the area Rapid Lightning Creek Rapid Lightning creek was 300 yards of roadside class 4/5 slides.
