Project Description: Research and develop a system which can convert Non-XML documents (such as Doc??PDF and HTML) to structured XML documents. The design of the system is based on the combination of rule based information extraction model and Hidden Markov model.
My Responsibilities: Mainly focus on the research work, system design and programming.
Key Technology: C++, Unstructured Information Management, Machine learning, XML, XSLT.

2001.07 ?? 2003.07 Chinese Patent electronic Application System
Project Description: Research and develop a system which automates the process of patent application flow. The system is composed of twelve subsystems, such as XML electronic editor, CA authentication subsystem, application flow control subsystem, and etc.
My Responsibilities: Mainly focus on the design and coding of a XML Electronic Editor(similar to microsoft word 2003) for patent application, the design of XML standard of patent documents.
Key Technology: C++, XML??Predicate Logic??UML??Security??COM??Word parsing and the basic technology of editor functions.

2000.7 ?? 2001.7 Domain based Search engine
Project Description: Research and develop a search engine system which helps clients to find useful computer related papers though the internet. The project is supported by Provincial Science Foundation.
My Responsibilities: Mainly focus on the research work, the design and partly programming of a sub-system which is responsible for information extraction.
Key Technology: C++, Information Extraction, ISAPI, ADO and SQL Server.
