My full name is Carrie O'Conner Childress and I'm originally from Bedford, Virginia. Bedford is a rural town located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love being surrounded by the mountains and spending time outside. I'm 23 years old and have a brother who is 26. My brother is also a Hokie and a big reason I came to Virginia Tech.

I love Virginia Tech and I am proud to finally be a graduate. I will always consider Blacksburg a second home. One of my favorite parts of being a Hokie has been the football seasons. Presently, I am looking to obtain a job where I can gain more experience in the fields of public relations, adverting/marketing, and/or journalism. I am hoping to eventually pursue a career in public relations or advertising.
