Welcome to the Cedar Fork Rifles! We are an energetic reenacting group made up of people from all walks of life and bound by a common interest in the period surrounding the War Between the States. The men of the reactivated "Bloody Sixth" reside principally in (but not limited to) the central and eastern parts of North Carolina. This unit assumes the identity of Co. I, 6th North Carolina State Troops for its Confederate impression and that of the 69th New York State Vols., of the Irish Brigade, for our Federal impression. It is our purpose to honor all men who answered the call of their country in the single most pivotal event in American History.
