Objective:
Develop local control sources for the suppression of low-frequency noise (< 300 Hz) in launch vehicle payload fairings.
Results:
- Designed, built, and tested a control transducer using piezoelectric materials.
- Demonstrated acoustic feedback control on a 2 m cylindrical tube.
