Objective:
Investigate decentralized acoustic control for interior noise control in payload fairings. Quantify the performance as compared to a centralized control methodology. Results:

Single-input-single-output acoustic control was tested on a full-scale composite fairing housed at Duke University.
A control model of a conic fairing section was developed for the purpose of analyzing single-input-single-output control.
