Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, I received my Associates in Science from Piedmont Virginia Community College in May 1997. Following this I transferred to the Mechanical Engineering department at Virginia Tech, where I earned B.S. in May 2000. Accepted into the five year MS/BS program at Virginia Tech, I am currently working to complete my masters degree in the area of active acoustic control of payload fairings used in satellite deployment.
