'73 142E auto! Turbo pics
So far:
- removed the gas tank, completely stripped it washed the 2 or 3 pounds
of rust out of it, welded a new pump mount, removed inner pickup screen
- external walbro 255 high pressure pump with inline fuel filer before
and after pump
- Crane optical ignition conversion
- removed both front and rear bumpers
- welded rear bumper holes closed and removed bumper seam lip (completely
rusted anyway)
- welded over the front turn signals that used to dangle on the outer
front fenders. I'll use the front parking lights on the outsides of
the headlights as turn signals
- stock car products 650lb/in front springs cut
- bought 240 overload springs for the rear and cut alot of coils off
(I think 3) which in turn made them pop off their seat under full suspension
drop so I welded perch extensions on (see pics)
- battery relocated to the trunk
Turbo Setup!
- Stainless turbo manifold welded by streetdynamics
- Thunderbird 60/63 T3
- 2.5" stainless downpipe
- 2.5" stainless exhaust
- 2nd gen dsm sidemount intercooler modified into a mini front mount
- Megasquirt controlling stock injectors, currently tuned with WB02
for 7-8lbs, more tuning and more boost soon to come.
