Software Exchange Website for the National Council on Measurment in Education (NCME)
In April 2005, I was awarded the Bradley Hanson Award by NCME to pursue a psychometric software exchange. Much psychometric research requires specialized software. Much of it is commercially available, but quite often, individual researchers develop source code, executable files, or even full-fledged applications to carry out specific analyses. I believe that our research could be greatly enhanced if there was a mechanism for sharing information and sources of psychometric software. This project resulted in a prototype website:
I am continuing to update the database for this website and am seeking external support to add to its capabilities. Please visit the website and let me know what you think. I welcome suggestions for its improvement.
