About Me
I am currently a Senior Kernel Engineer
at Security Products Group (SPG) of Juniper
Networks, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA. I am with the kernel group of
platform engineering department of SPG. Our team designs, develops,
and maintains kernels/operating systems for high-performance routing
platforms, including next generation routers, firewalls, and SSL-VPNs,
etc. Our everyday work helps to enhance the secured and assured
network supported by Juniper.
Before I joined Juniper, I obtained my Ph.D.
in Computer Engineering at the Bradley
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
I received my B.E. (cum laude) and M.S.E.
(summa cum laude) both in Electronic
Engineering, from Tsinghua University,
Beijing China in 1999 and 2002, respectively.
Research Interests
My Ph.D. dissertation was completed in the Real-Time
Systems Laboratory at Virginia Tech, and I was a member of the Lab of New Genration Network Technology & Applications
during my master study. My interested topics
