INTASC 9. Teacher Reflection

The teacher intern is a reflective practitioner who continually evaluates the effects of his or her choices and actions on others (students, parents, and other professionals in the learning community) and who actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally.

Student Teaching Reflections - A set of five reflections throughout my student teaching experience. 

Teaching in the Real World - A reflection written that focused on the entirety of my student field study.  I reflect upon new insight that I developed as an intern and what roles I will have to play as a science educator. 

Adolescent Learners and Diversity - A reflection written during my field experience focusing on students' intellectual, social, and personal development and the diversity surrounding that development.

Unit Plan Assessment - This is a reflective, self-assessment of the unit plan I prepared that focused on the concepts of bacteria, virus, fungi and protist.

Prior Knowledge Assessment - This is an assessment of the prior knowledge investigation I preformed.  The assessment is reflective and demonstrates student work.

Environmental Lesson Plan Assessment - This is a reflective look at the environmental lesson plan I was able to design and perform during my student internship.
