The purpose of The Opinionated Times is to provide a platform
for the people of the world to be heard and understood. These people
that would normally go unheard. Writing is a valuable tool that goes
unused by the huge majority of people today. People are so wrapped
up in their own lives; they can't help but become uninformed,
oblivious and apathetic. Reading is considered boring. Most people
hate it. With The Opinionated Times, it is my hope to make it
interesting, fun, witty, honest and most importantly... from the
heart.
The Opinionated Times will feature columns by anyone who has
something say about any topic. Of course, there will be a quality
control, but as a whole, every column won't be ran through a filter
for "political correctness". At the same time, this site will not be
completely devoid of common sense. There is a fine line between
hate/prejudice/discrimination and honesty.
This website will hopefully be something new and fresh. A place you
can become a little more informed about the world and get a new
insight about the world. Although you may not agree with everything
or anything that is said; consider it the other side of the story.
In some aspects, a different perspective on an ever-changing world.
