Welcome to my WebSite. I graduated with a PhD from Agricultural and Applied Economics Department of Virginia Polytechnic Institue and State University, VA in December 2005. This WebSite is designed solely for personal presentation purposes, any information presented here shall not be used commercially or otherwise.

Prior to my academic career at VT, I earned a Bachelor's degree, BA (Honors) in economics at University of Delhi, India. Then I pursued MA in economics at Delhi School of Economics. I taught economics at University of Delhi for a brief tenure and then started working at NCAER, Delhi, as a Research Associate. During this time I grew more interested in a research oriented career in Economics. Following my academic interests in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics, I got admitted to the PhD program at VT in Fall 2001.

My parents are settled in New Delhi. I recently started my own family with Amrish Vyas, a PhD student at University of Maryland at Baltimore County, MD.
