Biobased Advanced Materials

facilities

Completely renovated in January 2005, the Biobased Advanced Materials Laboratory is a 480 sq. ft. facility, located on the second floor of Cheatham Hall. The instrumentation of the Biobased Advanced Materials Laboratory includes:

Asylum Research MFP-3D-BIObio atomic force microscope
Asylum Research MFP-3D Bio: a high-performance atomic force microscope mounted onto an inverted fluorescence microscope to combine molecular resolution topographic imaging with fluorescence microscopy
Location
The microscope is currently located in the Thomas M. Brooks Forest Products Center, approximately 1 mile away from the main campus.
