Hello Everyone!

My name is Katelynn and as the quote says I'm a pretty simple girl who grew up in New York. I have always been interested and involved with media, hence why I am a Communications major. In high school I was the head of my student television station. I would do both on camera and off camera work. At Virginia Tech, I started working with the school newspaper, The Collegiate Times. At The Collegiate Times, I was in charge of all National Advertising. I love working for the Collegiate Times and have learned more than I ever learned in the classroom. Currently, I have moved up to a management position and have become the Assistant Advertising Director.

Another passion of mine is travel. In high school, I took a trip to England and Ireland and have been drawn to Europe ever since. Additionally, I have been on sixteen different cruises! I love the warm weather and the tropics. My favorite island is Bermuda because of the pink sand beachs and the friendly environment.
