Kevin's Watch News for 11/16/09
  • Blah blah busy, blah blah sorry. The bad news today is that there seems to be a hiccup on the message board. I'm sure it's only temporary. However, this event does remind me of the fact that I don't believe I've ever linked to the backup message board to use in case of emergencies. You can find it here: http://kevinswatch.10.forumer.com/. Oh, and we're approximately less than one year away from Against All Things Ending!

Kevin's Watch News for 12/18/08
  • Wow...just wow. Almost a year to the day since I last updated. Anyway, I'm sorry for this. What can I say, life got busy last year. Anyway, the sadder thing is that I have nothing new to actually update today, heh. But I will! I have a list growing on the KW message board on the things that I need to update (and it's pretty big). However, a short recap of the last year: 1) The Kevin's Watch message board is still going strong! 2) Everyone has been reading Fatal Revenant and enjoying it for the most part. 3) The next Covenant book is still on schedule to be released in 2010. 4) We are currently having a group read or dissection of Fatal Revanent, so please join in!
Kevin's Watch News for 12/19/07
  • A couple of short updates. First, there is a new Kevin's Watch Anthology available. This is a book of science fiction and fantasy short stories written by members of Kevin's Watch. It may be a little late to pick one up in time for the holiday, but you should pick one up anyway, heh. As a note, the KW Anthology series is sold by a third-party site (Lulu.com) and no profits are made by Kevin's Watch. It is a for-fun project. Also, I have added the covers for Fatal Revenant to the book cover gallery.

  • Just in case you missed the boat, Fatal Revenant is now available in stores! So go pick up your copy and start reading today! Then discuss the book in the message board. Happy reading!

Kevin's Watch News for 3/13/07
  • Sorry for the little break there, heh. I was having school and server problems. But just so you know, the site is on a new server now. So let me know if you see any problems. But who cares about that? The bigger news, in case you didn't hear, is that Book 3 of the Last Chronicles has a new name! (Again! Heh.) It's now called "Against All Things Ending." Hopefully that will be the last change, heh. More soon.
Kevin's Watch News for 12/12/06
  • Hey all, a bunch of new stuff in the world of SRD has happened since my last update. First, there has been a lot of big news involving Fatal Revenant. The current street date, according to SRD's website, is for October 2007. You can read more about Fatal Revenant on SRD's site or on the message board, where it's being talked about a lot. Second, in case you missed it, SRD has changed the title of the third book on his website to "Should Pass Utterly." (It used to read "Shall Pass Utterly.") Third, in case you're looking for last minute holiday gifts, the members of Kevin's Watch have put together a second Anthology of short stories for you. In case you didn't know, these are fantasy and science fiction stories written by members of the message board. Fourth, the Dissection of Runes of the Earth is still going on and going strong, so take a look. And last but not least, we have a couple of new Fan Art submissions by Midguard. Hey, like I said, lots of stuff. Hopefully some more stuff soon.
Kevin's Watch News for 9/7/06
  • Heh, it's been a little while since the last update. Sorry, but it couldn't be avoided. Anyway, I have a few new things on the site today. First, I updated the Book Cover Galleries with more pictures. Second, I added the new Kevin's Watch Anthology store to the site. If you haven't heard about this on the message board, this is a new series of short story collections written by members of the Kevin's Watch message board community. The stories are primarily science fiction and fantasy themed. The first book is available now and we're working on a new one right now. It's cheap and it's a good read, so check it out. And just so you know we aren't trying to push the book for money, don't worry, we're not making a cent on this book. It's purely for fun. Soon, I hope to post the recently released information about Fatal Revenant as well as an update on the status of the Runes of the Earth dissection currently going on at the message board. Kevin's Watch News for 5/2/06
  • We're going to start a group reading of The Runes of the Earth on the Watch starting June 1st. So please feel free to come and join in on the discussions. We'll be reading the whole book and discussing it chapter by chapter. It's a lot of fun, and easy to do. So go to the Watch's message board, go to the Dissecting the Land forum, and just join in! All you have to do is just post what you think about each chapter of Runes. Or just read what other people say. If you want to sign up to lead a chapter discussion, you can do so here: Runes Group Reading. There are still plenty of chapters available! Hope to see you there.

  • Just letting you know that I added some more pictures to the Book Cover Gallery. If you have any images of Thomas Covenant book covers that I don't have listed on this site, feel free to let me know. Thanks. Oh, and we've had to upgrade the message board, which means that many of the board features were removed. Please be patient with us while we try to get all of the features back. Thanks.

  • Well, just for your information, the Kevin's Watch message board was hit by hackers yesterday. I'm trying to do what I can to fix the problem, but I think we need to wait for Vain, our main forum Administrator, to help us out. There's not much I can do myself. I'll let you know here on this site of any news about the status of the forum as I hear it. But right now, just be patient. Thanks.

  • Heh, Happy New Year. Just a quick update to say that I've made some more progress on the Book Cover Gallery and the Dissecting The Land pages. I hope to have the whole site converted over to the new layout soon. I also hope to add some new stuff, so keep an eye out. Later!

  • I put up the current approximate timeline for the release of the next books in the Last Chronicles. These are the dates given by SRD on his official website. They're only a guess, so they aren't final dates. I should be able to get back into converting the rest of the site into the new layout soon.

Kevin's Watch News for 6/18/05
  • Wow! A new layout! Heh. And you thought I was dead or something. Anyway, since I was starting to hate the old layout of the site, I decided it was time for a change. So, Edge from the message board helped create the basic structure of the new layout, and here we are. A brand new Watch, pretty much, heh. Hope you all like it. It was designed to look and feel more like the message board, easily the most active part of Kevin's Watch. I also included some information about the message board that you can see on the main page, such as a list of recent topics on Thomas Covenant. The code for this was done by Vain, the creator of the message board. As you can probably notice, the transition to the new layout is still not 100% complete, but I just had to go public with what I had done so far, since I thought it looked so much better than the old layout, heh. So hopefully soon the entire site will be in the new format. I'll also be updating and revamping a lot of the sections, so keep an eye out for that. If you want to give any comments or ideas for the new layout to Kevin's Watch, please let me know. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks a lot, and I hope you enjoy the new site!
