How do you get an internship? One of the best pieces of advice is start early. Another: draw on your personal network. (If you don't have a personal network, get to work building it!) Jack Pitney has one of the best sets of internship links around. He also has one of the best webpages for jobs in public affairs. Feel free to ask me about the organizations listed. I'll add other internship links as I get recommendations. The International Association of Emergency Managers lists internships and jobs here.
