The A Frame Deer Hoist

by Kerry Ewald

I've been using mine now for about 8 years. The nice thing about it is you can take it apart after season is over and lean it against a garage or just lay it on the ground. It's made from treated lumber so it can be stored outside. I can put mine together and take it apart by myself by leaning the A's against the side of the truck and putting the beam in while standing on the truck bed. Hang your hoist or just throw a rope over the beam however you choose to hoist the deer. Kick the bottoms of the A's outward to lock the beam in place then drive your truck out. When you get a deer, just back the truck underneath the frame and hoist the deer up. Drive the truck out and you can begin to skin and butcher your deer. DSLAYR
