Rose Bradshaw joined the
AEE Department during the summer of 2006 while she worked as the
marketing and recruitment coordinator for the Agricultural
Technology Program at Virginia Tech. Her primary interests are in
promoting and strengthening Virginia agriculture through
leadership and economic development programs.
Rose grew up in Southeast Virginia where her family raises
peanuts, corn, wheat, soybeans, and registered hunting dogs. She
enjoys fishing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends
and family.

Rose is currently working on a
project for Virginia Farm Bureau assessing the leadership
development needs of young adults involved in agriculture. This information will be used
to improve the Virginia Farm Bureau Young Farmer program.
