Pris reads everything. Particular favorites are:
  • A.A. Attanasio
AAA is my favorite living science fiction author. His first book, RADIX, blew me away when I was about 15, and he just keeps getting better. His latest series on King Arthur is a very satisfying mix of astrophysics, quantum mechanics, Arthurian legend, and Norse, Celtic, and Christian mythology. Among other things. If you have not read him yet, get started! Here is a review I wrote of The Wolf and the Crown at amazon.com (Reviewer: P Sears (skinfaxi@aol.com) from Virginia, USA)
  • Del Stone, Jr.
Del kicks butt, what can I say? His book Dead Heat (an expansion of a comic book from David Dorman's Wasteland series) features a zombie-biker hero named Hitch, whose half-face strangely resembles the author. Don't think such a creature can be symapathetic and touching? You haven't read Mr. Stone. Also check out "Kiss Me, You Fool" in the recent anthology "Treachery and Treason" - hilarious, perverted, scary and 100% original. Here's a review I wrote of it at Amazon.com. (Reviewer: p sears from USA)
  • Philip K Dick
The master of paranoia and confused reality. I collect his paperbacks, a lifetime project as he churned out 40+ books in his lifetime.
  • Richard Brautigan
Witty and sad, charming and surreal, the poems, short stories, and novels of RB never get old for me. I would love to spend a couple years researching his life.
  • Clive Barker
    Quality contemporary horror
  • Peter McWilliams
Author of the libertarian masterpiece "Ain't Nobody's Business (But My Own)," the entire text of which can be found on his web site.
