BSE 2484 focuses on fundamentals of the construction and operation of current internal combustion power units. Upon completion of this course students will be able to discuss and explain the operation of internal combustion engines, engine systems, electrical systems, and typical agricultural and automotive power train components. Compute and analyze engine characteristics such as displacement, power, torque, speed, efficiency, etc. Also, we discuss and interpret routine engine test data.
