Buisness Logo Development
Objective
1
For this objective, we designed a corporate logo for a fictitious
corporation. I developed my logo design around a fictitious company that
was created in Manufacturing, EDVT 3454 called Omega Tech Illuminations.
The description of the company is as follows:
Omega Tech Illuminations produces high quality manufactured light boxes for reasonable prices. Our company strives to provide a reliable product for our customers, which exceeds all expectations while emphasizing teamwork and a safe working environment. Omega Tech Illuminations targets Virginia Tech Fans with the VT logo printed on two panes of glass on the light box.
In this LAP, we first sketched
well known companies logo/symbols. These are a few examples:
Next, we sketched thumbnails of a logo for our fictitious company. I sketched
numerous logos before deciding on a final. These are a few examples:

Creation in Freehand
Objective 2:
I produced a logo using Freehand in black&white, then with two
color.
Then I created a layout with 4 copies of b&w business card on the top
half, and 4 copies on the bottom half, with include trim lines included.
This was created in Pagemaker.
Greeting
Card
Objective 3:
First, I sketched thumbnails of a graphic that could be included on
the card. Next, i sketched thumbnails of a rough layout of a greeting
card. Then, I created the graphics that are included on the greeting card
in Freehand. The following are these graphics:
Then, we were to design a "French Fold" greeting card in Pagemaker.

Objective 4:
We were to create a greeting card in pagemaker that included a return
address, mailing address, and a graphic.
