Introduction:
Duotones
are created by printing two slightly different halftones of the same
photograph with two different colors. Generally, black ink is used
for the dark printer, and the other color is selected for the mood
or effect it creates. With advancing technology, duotones can be made
electronically instead of in the darkroom. I choose black and red
for my duotone to give the photograph a "warm tone." |
