Students, be a critical Internet user when doing research!

  1. Check to make sure your Internet information is from a credible source, someone that can be trusted.  Double check with an adult if there is a question.
  2. Check more than one site to get your facts.  If your fact is true, it should be listed at more than one site.
  3. Don’t use people’s personal homepages.  These tend to have more opinions than facts!
  4. Use kid friendly search engines to get the best web page results, such as KidsClick or Kidsearch.
  5. Use good judgment.  Good common sense will help guide your search for information on the web!
