outside looking in... about the site
august 12, 2000 I've renemed my site once again. Now it's called "Outside looking in..." I named this partially because this is a window for you to gaze into my life through and also, the fact that I feel that way about my own life sometimes. I should be updating the Misc. section soon with humorous and perhaps embarrassing moments. Also look for more pictures from Windy Gap and the InterVarsity picnic. Also coming are concert photos of Pat McGee Band (Lyric Theatre - 7.18.00) and Third Eye Blind/Vertical Horizon/Nine Days (Salem Civic Center - 8.9.00) february 4-5, 2000 I am now starting the renovations to this page. I've changed the intro page and I also finally added some pictures. Look for some slight modifications to the site. More to come soon. The new quote on the splash page is from the vocal interlude of Vertical Horizon's "Wash Away" (only performed live c.1997) july 24, 1999 The page is now back, and better than ever. That's not really a stretch, 'cause the original page wasn't all that great. The entire site has been stripped down and redesigned. I guess I should give all those who are curious the low down on the page. The opening quote is by Robert Venturi, who could be considered the leader of post modern architecture. People who know Venturi will note that this particular quote is actually bashing my site, hopefully that'll motivate me to improve it. You will also notice that the page is devoid of graphics of any kind. I wanted to create a "basic" homepage, from which I can add to. Neat little graphics only work if the page works well, so I wanted to lay a foundation for it. Well, that's about it. Until next time... december 12, 1998 After taking a good look at my page, I realized that it was against everything that I believed in when it comes to design. It was made with quick computer graphics with no thought behind it at all. There was no process involved in constructing the page and as a result, a page that I am not at all happy with. So after two months and 101 hits, I decided to pull my page from the web until I am able to produce a page that I am proud to put my name on. I thank you for taking the time to read this. october 13, 1998 Everything is new
