 Historical Weather Variant 1

Purpose: This variant is designed to make the game more historically accurate with respect to the weather. The days of September the 19th and 20th will begin with overcast weather.

Impact: The allied supply advantage is guaranteed to be reduced in the last two turns of the game. This variant favors the German Player.

Details: Rule: 17.1 is not used, 17.4 remains unchanged and Rule 6.21 is replaced with the following: There are no Weather determination die rolls at the begriming of each turn. D-Day and September the 18th turns begin Clear and September the 19th and September the 20th turns begin Overcast. Flip the Weather marker to the appropriate side on the Turn Record Track, and flip the Allied Airborne Depots and German Depots so that their Weather illustration matches the Turn marker.

 Historical Weather Variant 2

Purpose: This variant is designed to take away the possibility of a big swing in Allied Supply and reinfocements on Sept 19th

Impact: The allied supply advantage is guaranteed to be reduced in the third turn of the game. This variant favors the German Player.

Details: Rule: 17.1 is not used, 17.4 remains unchanged and Rule 6.21 is replaced with the following: There is no Weather determination die roll during the Dawn Phase of the September the 19th turn, the turn will begin Overcast. Flip the Weather marker to the appropriate side on the Turn Record Track, and flip the Allied Airborne Depots and German Depots so that their Weather illustration matches the Turn marker.
