Protein Engineering and Synthetic Biology
Research Goals: (1) Improve the performance of the key proteins related to biofuel production by protein rational design and directed enzyme evolution; and (2) Investigate the in vitro protein/protein relationship in cell-free synthetic biology system. See News about our research highlights.
Educational Requirement: Ph.D. degree in Applied Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or relevant majors. The postdoc candidate must have good publications as the first author. The relevant experience in protein engineering and protein characterization is preferred. The knowledge of mathematical modeling and simulation (Matlab) and electro-biochemistry is a plus. The applicant should be self-driven, be willing to learn new knowledge, have strong problem-solving ability, and have good communication skills.
Ph.D. RA Positions Open !!!
B.S. and/or MS. degree in biochemical engineering, chemical engineering, bioengineering, and biotechnology or applied biology. The candidates should have strong motivation, ambitious (do great things and be big), willing to learn new knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and good communication skills.
