Arrival/Departure Times

Arrival Time - April 5, 2014

To allow for a speedy check in process, please try to use the following times wherever possible.
  • Ages 7 - 11: 8:00 am - 8:30 am
  • Ages 12 - 17 Years: 8:30 am - 9:00 am
* Siblings may be dropped off at the same time
** If you are running late, please call 540-774-7725
  1. Before being processed, you will receive a quick lice check and health inspection. Once the inspection has been passed, your hand will be stamped.

  2. Please have any outstanding forms ready to be turned in.

  3. Once all the necessary forms have been confirmed as received, your escorting guard (aka guardian) will sign you in. You will receive your id badge along with other items. You will need to keep your badge on you at all times.

  4. With the medic-on-duty, please drop off any prescribed or over-the-counter medication.

  5. With the kitchen staff, please drop off your bagged lunch.

Departure Times - April 6, 2014

Check-Out Procedure

  1. When you arrive, please report to the check-out station. You will not be allowed into the Great Hall. This is for security reasons. If you need to use the restrooms, we have a bathroom available in the Hospital wing.

  2. You will be asked to sign out your student. This is to ensure no polyjuice potion has been taken. This is to make sure the right student goes home with the right family.

  3. While your student and her belongings are being fetched, please collect any medications from the medic-on-duty

  4. While waiting for your student, please step to the edge of the patio so the other students access to their parents.

  5. Have a safe journey home and we hope to see you next year! If Peeves decides to mess around with your flying car while still on academy grounds, please request to speak to Ash for assistance

Program Activites

The camp will break out into different mini-camps for four themed activity periods and then come together to sample all the themes as part of the evening activity.

Sleeping Quarters

Students and female staff will be sleeping inside at the great hall in a slumber - party style during a movie marathon.
Mattresses are provided. There are showers and flushing toilets.

Campers will bring their own bagged lunch and snack. Please clearly label it!

Dinner (Saturday)

Spaghetti and Meatballs, Garlic Bread, Salad
Drinks: Lemonade, Ice Tea

Breakfast (Sunday)

Oatmeal, Cereal
Drinks: Milk, Juice, Hot Coco

11:35 am - 12:35 pm = Activity 2

12:10 pm - 1:25 pm = Lunch (Bagged Lunch)

1:30 pm - 3:00 pm = Free Time

3:10 pm - 4:10 pm = Activity 3

4:15 pm - 5:15 pm = Activity 4

5:30 pm - 7:15 pm = Dinner

7:15 pm - 7:45 pm = Clean Up for Dinner/Wipe Down Tables (Disposal Dishes)

7:55 pm - 8:05 pm = Change for Evening Activity

8:05 pm - 9:35 pm = Evening Activity

9:45 pm - evening = Movie
